On 12 April, the seventh edition of the “Grand Prix du Brand Content” was held at the Fondation Maison de la Chimie in Paris, the International competition which each year awards prizes for the best marketing publicity campaigns, based on their editorial strategies.

Bally, an historic fashion house with its headquarters in Switzerland, was awarded first prize in the “Luxury” category for its Shoepedia project, an online portal dedicated to the care and maintenance of its shoes, containing detailed information and Infotainment accessible for clients who expect the highest quality and tradition from their Bally footwear.

The project, devised by the French brand content agency Mensquare Agency, led to the collaboration with InstaBrand to select several Influencers to become Ambassadors for #Shoepedia, creating original online content on their social media profiles and inviting their followers to share the official hashtag.

Thanks to their data ownership technology, Instabrand were able to select Influencers from all over the world, whose audience proved to be in line with Bally’s target audience and communication aims, and whose level of engagement was noticeably more significant when the Influencer posted content that was connected to the world of footwear. The campaign thus recorded a level of engagement equal to 2.75%, allowing Bally to concentrate their own resources on relevant Influencers who have the ability to convey a specific message to a select audience.
