French President François Hollande to visit the United States inFebruary 2014 as Barack Obama is hosting a State visit.

« Michelle and I look forward to welcome President Hollande and Valérie Trierweiler on a State visit and State dinner at the White House on February11th”, says the American President. “During the visit, we will discussopportunities to further strengthen the U.S.-France security and economic partnership”.

François Hollande will also go to Boston to discuss the scientific andeducational cooperation between our two countries.

« The United States and France are close friends and allies, including throughNATO, and our countries have worked together to support democracy, liberty,and freedom at home and abroad for more than two centuries.

« Also, François Hollande has invited President Obama to commemorate the70th anniversary of the allies’ landing in Normandy, next June.

If the length of the stay has not been announced yet, we already know theFrench President should not stay very long in the United States due to theupcoming municipal election in France.
