The International School of Los Angeles is looking for an English Teacher for Middle and High School in Burbank.
Qualifications:
• Teaching credential/Masters of Education
• Full time teaching experience in a secondary school setting: 3+years
• Accustomed to working in a multi-level classroom and able to differentiate to meet multiple language levels and learning styles.
• Effective communicator: Able to communicate with students, parents and other teachers.
Desirable qualifications:
• Experience teaching ESL students or with Section Internationale Américaine (American International Section) of the French program
• Previous experience in schools from the AEFE network
• Knowledge of a Romance language (French preferred).

Context: The English teacher will be working full time on the Burbank campus, which offers a bilingual education from grades 6-12. Students follow a common track from 6th to 9th grade, leading to a French credential, and then opt to prepare a rigorous baccalaureate: either the French baccalaureate, or the International Baccalaureate.
