The International School of Los Angeles / Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA) has further enhanced student life on its Burbank campus through the recent installation of a new multipurpose field, as well as more green space and shade, thanks to the Green Shade Field (GSF) project.

Focusing on the key areas of physical education, athletics, and recreation and well-being, the GSF project has created a nurturing outdoor space for students. The new multi-sport field – made from court material and featuring a track as well as straight running lanes – supports both the PE curriculum and the athletics program, offering students a safer playing surface. With the planting of over 37 trees and the addition of two pergolas, students can better enjoy their recess and lunchtime breaks while protected from the sun.

This upgraded area, featuring an improved playing surface along with additional green space and shade, will offer students and families an enriched outdoor experience.

Time to get outside!
