Alliance Française de Los Angeles

Tuesday September 13TH 2016 at 7:00 PM

Are you interested in climate change? Are you an adventurer or an avid traveler?

The Alliance Française de Los Angeles is inviting you to a screening of The Pursuit of Endurance tomorrow at 7:00 PM!

The Pursuit of Endurance is a film that documents a new polar expedition that follows in the footsteps of the Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton.

The screening will be followed by a discussion of the movie with the President of the US-based investment and management advisory firm Sagax, Luc Hardy, who also happens to be an entrepreneur, veteran adventurer, environmental advocate, author, member of the Explorers Club of New York, and Vice-President of Green Cross France & Territories, the environmental NGO founded by Mikhail Gorbachev.

Luc Hardy pursues the personal goal of traveling extensively across the globe, photographing, and reporting from remote places in order to raise awareness for global causes. He has led several expeditions in polar and glacier regions over the years, such as Greenland, the Himalayas, and the North Pole.

The film will be shown in English with a Q&A in French / English.

FREE for Alliance Française Members – $10 for Non-Members.
