The Theatre Raymond Kabbaz is hosting a second event this semester on October 5th and October 6th at 7:30 PM. Instead of attending a classical music concert this time, you will have the privilege of attending a dance show by American and French choreographers, the Los Angeles based company Lux Aeterna, and the Paris based company Compagnie Par Terre.
Each company performs two parallel works with four dancers. The choreographers Jacob “Kujo” Lyons and Anne Nguyen will mix different aspects and technics of contemporary dance, hip-hop, and breakdance to offer energetic and innovative works.

Punctum Saliens by Lux Aeterna, a 60 min choreographic creation by Jacob “Kujo” Lyons with 4 dancers and a 5 min extract of Autarcie (…) by Compagnie Par Terre.
The award-winning company will transform urban techniques into something transcendant, geometric and radiant, fusing various art forms such as breaking, contemporary dance, and circus arts.

Autarcie (…) by Compagnie Par Terre, a 60 min performance by Anne Nguyen with 4 female dancers and a 5 min extract by Lux Aeterna company.
This work features four jumpsuit-clad dancers facing off in a frantic, ritual warrior dance. They deliver an astonishing performance by transforming their respective dance specialties of breakdance, popping and waacking into an abstract vocabulary.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for students for each show.
A subscription package including both performances is available at $56 for adults and $40 for students.
